For those job hunters who are thinking ESL teaching as a great opportunity, beware of this company for it has a lot hidden agenda. At first, it offers promises that put you up in the air but eventually make your life miserable. I have many stories to tell you.

• No Observance of Philippines Special and Regular Holidays (Christmas, New Year, Sinulog and etc…)
• Deep Freeze Salary rate – “10K” from 2009 to 2014
o Saturday is considered as overtime but if it falls on a regular holiday, it is counted as usual pay
• Absence due to sickness, natural calamity and tardiness even for (1) one minute disables you to get a monthly perfect attendance incentive worth of 1500
• Unequal distribution of classes, if you’re a good teacher as expected you will handle more classes than bottom performing teachers but all of you are earning the same “SALARY!!!!” others are “HAPPY GO LUCKY!!!!” since they are not well-known
• Cracked Building
• No medical insurance for regular employees
• Vacation leave must be approved at least 1 month advanced
• Half day and under time are credited from your annual sick leave
• Terrible fixed working schedule for evening FULL TIMERS
• Broken air-con in the office
• Limited facility for 80 teachers
• No break time for part timers, regular or non regular.
• No team budget
• No monthly or annual team building
• Threatens employees by ceasing the operation in Cebu
• The CEO of this company doesn’t value the teachers, he can’t even give gratuity for those who have rendered their services for more than 4 years
