Backing out from contract. Can it be done?

My question is, if mo back out ko, makiha or mareklamo ba ko sa company?

Mi sign ko this week sa contract. then effective ko nga mo start next week.

Please enlighten my mind guys. need info.

When you sign a contract, you should honor it. Why do you want to back out now? And yes, I think you are liable if you breach your contract before its effective date.

I want to back out for some reason which I can't post here.

You can breach your contract anytime but most companies would require you to pay a certain amount amicably in return of not filing any case against you. Kung pipitsugin nga company, murag gamay ra ang chances considering mahal kaayo ang litigation process then gamay ra silag makuha sa imoha.

Breach of Contract is very common here in Cebu. Mostly this happens with small to medium businesses.

The question is: Was it stated under the contract that you'll have to pay for some amount should you decide to quit before the said contract ends? If so, magbayad jud ka ana. If there's none, wala jud na probs.

na train na ba ka nila?..kung nakapasar na ka sa training pasabot nakagasto na sila nimo..basin pabayaron ka....depende ra sa company.....murag dili na sila mo file ug kaso...mag gasto2x pa sila..matawag nato ug breach of contract pero para sa usa ka tao nga nausab ang desisyon para sa kaayohan dili na' sila mobabag..total' wala' pa man sad ka makasugod...naa ra na' nimo..puede ra sad makig istorya na lang ka sa ga hire nimo...
