    @ rts1980,

I think the only institutions that accepts gold investments is specialized banks, the easiest would be an online account.

I have no idea where we can get to invest in gold here in the Philippines, does anyone have any info about this?

Try looking into this site bullionvault.com, but like I said gold is used as a hedge against inflation so it wont be a

good investment in your portfolio if you have too much or too little.

Thank you all for your replies! I learned a lot jud, now I know that buying gold is actually the bar gold itself hehe and that phil still not yet into that gold trading scheme pa. It pays to ask and it's a good feeling to know that pepz are willing to help you with investment. Hope this thread will continue to be active so we can trade infos. For now, I doubt that I will or can invest in that area, was just curious lang since the news are talking about gold is the in thing etc.

Gold now plays from $910 - $915/ toz(Troy Ounce) thats why they say gold is in, but gold investors say that

    gold is always a staple.

    Default for your info!!!

first time investors must be aware in investing somewhere or something, we must have broad knowledge to what we are doing.Every investors must have a certain goals in life. Investing is so risky for people who lack of knowledge and without plans. investing is sound good financially but it may result negative or bad to someone who has no idea or plan, it makes the person to become greed or it may turn your money lost instead of gaining.I'm not intelligent enough to claim something but i used to feed my mind always before i go to a certain investment.like our topics, i don't just concentrate in gold rather i buy most silver, why? coz in my research, in the information age, where computers are being use now, silver is one of the metals they are using in computer manufacturing, so i'm expected the price of silver in skyrocket

yes, real estate is a very good investment, BUT if you're still starting don't go directly to real estate.

build your emergency funds and protection first, just in case.

kay daghan baya naay yuta pero pag abot sa mga emergency nabaligya ang yuta ug barato.. tsk3x
kay wala man naka pundo para emergency
