    Default technical support business!!!

Juvio got me thinking today when I went to look to purchase another computer.

I have a source, where I can purchase an eMac for $800, that includes...

A 3 year Apple technical support package! Basically it would be a similar service that Juvio is offering.

Let's look at the numbers here.

I can purchase a NEW eMac every 3 years(after the tech support runs out) at a cost of $800.

If I would use Juvio's support at a cost of $35 a month, it would cost $1260 for the same 3 year period.

So what I'm saying is , one can purchase a Brand Spanking New computer for much less than they would spend on tech support(provided tech support is included withthe purchase).

    Make sense?

    Marc

I think those numbers will make sense!

bro! yes apple do much than juvio! its APPLE (mac) also with other computer firms! IBM , COMPAQ, HP CAMERA (sony, pentax etc.) *edited* one more thing i want to add bai ang inyo money making is the comission not the real business of technical support! its the CD!! to earn comission you must subscribe, with the fact is uneconomical and out of this world technical description!

one more issue gi raise sa ako opismate! CD is not consumable it will soon stop to a point.

nice analysis there... u got a point... but let me ask you... can a 3 year apple technical support from ur purchase fix a companys database? your own digital camera... and a lot more, aside from computers? and can your warranty package includes your own business? does it makes sense?... to me it does...

    no thanks!

i suggest to read this thread: http://www.makingtherun.com/communit...ighlight=juvio

juvio and 167 are the same company! and 167 is a scam

Juvio.com is a classic service pyramid scam in Direct Sales (these schemes have been pitch for about a decade now and 'none' have surived long term). Here is why.

For $34.95/month you get, get this -- computer support. For another $7 you can be a distributor! lol To get paid, you have to subscribe to the service -- or sell one service package -- but no one would buy this package for $35/month knowing you can get the same support from Dell (and more) for less than 1/4th the price. Also, with this comes Dell's on sight service (Juvio offers no onsight service).

The plan pays out $25 of the $35 (roughly) - they claim a 70% payout to suck in the people that have no clue -- just like getting in the pyramid scams. Your yearly cost is $425/year -- roughly a new PC a year --- or if you buy from Dell (you're welcome Dell for the Ad -- as if you need it), You can get a 4 YEAR on site support package (with fast service upgrade) for $300 for the 4 years)!!! So, you can get onsite service and a computer over 4 years for about $1000. The cost of support without the computer with Juvio is $2000!

    http://www.juvio.com/associates/payout.asp

    Level
    % Payout
    $ Payout per
    Service account
    1 40.068% $14.00
    2 1.420% $0.50
    3 1.420% $0.50
    4 1.420% $0.50
    5 5.000% $1.75
    6 7.160% $2.50
    7 1.420% $0.50
    8 1.420% $0.50
    9 1.420% $0.50
    10 9.300% $3.25

Of course we already know matrix plans don't work (99.9% fail). So, if you even need to go further you are NOT making a business decision. These posts will help with a basic understanding of Direct Sales.

What is Direct Sales and how does it work.

These three posts are complex, but taking a few hours to read them and understand them could save you years of being scammed.

How and why compensation plan numbers get mis-pitched

Also, Tammy Carter did this post on the old YahooGroups that shows you where and how you can get better support, mostly for FREE and if you really want to pay for it (and it's not necessary), you can pay as you go if you need it.

Subject: Tech Support - Juvio is it worth paying for

    Hi All,

I had a problem with NAV (Norton AntiVirus) the other day and in my search for an answer and a solution I came across free and paid for tech support.

It really got me thinking about Juvio whether or not this service is worth paying for so thought I would just do some more research. This is assuming it is legit.

Anyway - I didn't have to pay because I found the answer to my problem just by searching their database. Which wasn't hard. The solution came with full printable instructions that were very easy to understand and follow.

I also did a search on what is available out there for tech support for computer problems.

This site seems pretty good I didn't check it out completely (always do your own research) but just by the prices I would say if a person feels they need to pay for tech support to have on hand when ever they need them this is a pretty good deal.

    http://www.askdrtech.com/

Microsoft has a support website with free help you just have to search for it and do some reading. http:// support.microsoft.com/

    Also see: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/

Sometimes there are fees required (not sure what they are) but most commonly they range from $15 - 35 a question.

Another way of finding answers to problems is by posting to communities or newsgroups set up specifically for this type of discussion. Microsoft even tells you for "free" how to use Newsgroups. http://support.microsoft.com/newsgroups/
Here is just one of many free tech support discussion groups

    Yet another - http://www.5starsupport.com/

Any product you have from any company will have a support website with free help. Here is just one example -

    Epson - http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/index.jsp

Here you go here is a list of 2000 hardware and software manufacturers that have free or paid for tech support - http://www.compinfo-center.com/support.htm

There you have it. There is absolutely no reason to pay monthly for tech support unless you just can not find the answer to your problem for free which I find very hard to believe given the information above. Even then you will pay a one time free for the question and really with today's technology who has that many computer problems that warrant paying for a service monthly?

I found an ad for Juvio, which stated that they technicians were Microsoft Certified. Before joining I would ask to see this certification. I highly doubt they have it, it is just a ploy to suck people in. :-/

Do I think Juvio will last?? Nope I sure don't, anyone willing to pay for this is being sucked in by the money (opportunity), not by the services available.

There are many other free sources to tech support available, there are a few I use or have used that I didn't list but would be happy to if anyone needs them. I am not by far a computer expert but I know enough to know paying for a service like juvio is a pure waste of money.
Hope this helps someone and saves you some money.

    Take Care,
    Tammy Carter

bro... another good research there... are you a frustrated networking wizzard that you almost convinced me to request for a refund of the cd i purchased from juvio ... ooops.. sorry... i myself dont have a computer...does it depend on a persons marketing power? but then i realized, we do not have the same faith. And thats the bottom line!

anyway, to be fair, ill do a research of my own... dont worry if it is true, ill transfer to ur networking business... oops you do?

and hey! 167 and juvio are not one.(good research huh?) 167 for your info is a third marketing company that helps us market juvio... y dont u attend our seminar for a complete research you might change your mind and buy juvio company instead!

you made me wonder you declared juvio a scam... mmmm.... why dont we ask our government why it gave juvio a permit to hold its office here in cebu particularly at PAGIBIG building somewhere in Ayala Business park? this 18th of September ( there... an information for you... add it!)

hehehhe... you do a business because u want to earn a profit or commission out of it... and thats the nature of business... ryt? i suggest you enroll busns administration... you will learn... or u wanna tutor? and hey its not only the cd, but also technical support, and other affiliated products of juvio... promise... i beg u please attend the seminar!

    attend now!
