From the previous seminar on Basic Nutrition for newly-diagnosed cancer patients and patients undergoing treatment, weight management plays a key indicator on cancer treatment. It is important not just for cancer patienst but for everyone to be mindful about our weight and how to manage it. The event has been organized by Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc.- Eduardo J. Aboitiz Cancer Center (RAFI EJACC) Team headed by Ms Karen Wenceslao together with Sir Ronald Reyes to address myths on weight management, give hacks and promote holistic approach towards eating healthily. Amidst the fact that I was diagnosed with cancer, that feeling that you have done something right, somehow. This surreal feeling won't be there without the help of friends who extended their overflowing support online and through numerous calls and messages, to my family who always there to listen and respect my life goals, to the doctors who help me pave the way to making well-informed decisions, to the different organizations especially RAFI-EJACC who contributed a lot for this therapy, to my clients who supported my time off and provided the means to continue the fight - these, I can't stress enough how thankful I am.

I thought I was alone, but you guys made me realize, I wasn't.

I have been receiving numerous inquiries about my fight against Papillary Thyroid Cancer (PTCA) from the surgery preparation, the lab works needed, the availability of medical assistance, the hormones, diet, coping with the situation and many others. Replying individually on these inquiries were very helpful but it took some time which could have been spent on other things. It has been nearly 3 months since the surgery. My body is well rested, my mind is all set, my emotions is stable, I felt the urge to tick down some of the deliverables on my bucket list - to sit down and write the experience.
