  1. The Science and Brain when IN LOVE

    You make my Dopamine,
    Serotonin, Endorphin and
    Oxytocin levels go silly.

    THE SCIENCE IN LOVE

Getting struck by Cupid's arrow may very well take your breath away and make your heart go pitter-patter. It’s a question that physicists, philosophers, and science fiction writers have pondered for decades: how to travel from one place to another without travelling through the space in between.

Now a Kremlin-backed research program is seeking to make the teleportation technology behind Captain Kirk’s transporter a reality.

A proposed multi-trillion pound strategic development program drawn up for Vladimir Putin would seek to develop teleportation by 2035.

Ko, MD, announced today that they have performed the nation’s first genitourinary reconstructive (penile) transplant. A biotech company in the U.S. has been granted ethical permission by an Institutional Review Board in the U.S. and India to use 20 brain-dead patients for what is sure to be a highly controversial study: From next year, they plan to stimulate their nervous systems in order to restart the brains. 7. MIT engineers create glove that mitigates hand tremors from Parkinson’s

The GyroGlove is a cordless thin-and-light wearable hand stabilizer. It’s powered by a battery, with a tiny integrated controller that drives a precession hinge and turntable, and a responsive gyroscope . The gyroscope isn’t a detector — it’s an effector. And it has to move “silently and reliably at thousands of RPM.” With a motion disorder like Parkinson’s, the impedance of a person’s normal movements is a major detractor from quality of life. That’s why the device has to be so light, and why the ...
