n00b pa ko sa php yagit. tho the php manual is all i need to get me started with php scripting. i think pwede man tingali maka himo og classes sa php. i've seen alot of free php classes on the net.

well... for me i start from tutorial sites like phpbuilder.net. experiment with open source... usahay mag strip ra ko og codes from premade ones and set it to my likings. and once i get it to work, akong i-redo tanan from scratch. kuha lang og logic from the sample codes, so to speak. ^______^

@guilliam: i havent tried mambo yet, tho a friend of mine showed me its capabilities i have yet to try it out sooner or later. my codes are purely stand alone, i make my own cms so to speak.

so far sa mambo okay kaayo... prompt kaayo ang reply sa forums
although nag-lisod ko ug hack sa mambo tungod sa code nila... they output table tags ( which is kinda irritating when rearranging objects for displaying...

humot kaayo ang mambo sa client kay they can update the site, etc... okay rasad if ikaw update and u dont tell them that its mambo aron dili kapoy para nimo

i was going thru the code.. i was trying to rearrange how the "objects" are displayed...
like the Content Title and Content Body...
the way they are outputted is: echo "<td>var for Content Title or something</td>" and so on...

not a very good idea if you ask me hehe

oh, ic.. isnt it bec it uses language files OR the there are variables assigned to the language file. it makes mambo more flexible on the multi lingual platform.

I agree, php manual is very helpful.........
experience programmers can generate ideas faster with the help of the manual. of course, libog usahay...... kay uban syntax needs more experimentation.......

i meant files like content.html.php and not the language files... hehe i used mambo again... didnt realize how much i missed it until then... love it flower power... hhehehe
