Pacman, Nicole Scherzinger to Star in a Superhero Movie

Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls agreed to star in a superhero movie featuring Manny Pacquiao.

Nicole, who is half-Filipina, earlier said that she will love to do a movie with Pacquiao because he inspired her. Nicole and her group The Pussycat Dolls held a one-night concert here in Manila last June 11. In her interview, she revealed about the possible team-up with Pacquiao in a movie and volunteered to sing the Philippine National Anthem in Pacman’s upcoming bouts.
Wilson Tieng announced on Tuesday that Nicole Scherzinger finally agreed to do a movie with Manny Pacquiao. Filipino-Greek wrestler Dave Batista is also being tapped to appear in the movie which is set to be an entry at the Metro Manila Film Festival.
Manny Pacquiao will play a superhero in the said movie and Nicole will be her leading lady. The working title of the film is “Whapacman” with Tieng as producer.
Manny Pacquiao’s first film at the Metro Manila Film Festival was “Anak ng Kumander” last 2007. The movie was a flop earning only P2,457,113.00 at the box-office. The top-grosser at that time was Sakal Sakali, Saklolo with a haul of P122,893,166.

hehehe magkatawa man ta aning taga pikas ui kay puro marian or artista sa gma ila storyahan.. ang ila artista kay gi langaw na tawun... may pa tang mga kapuso kay atong storyahan kay ang mga artista ra jud sa kapuso.. dili pareho sa uban.. heheheheheh aw nuon hasta sa ilang mga news man gud pud kay marian rivera wa jud sila kaligtas!!! samot na inig awards night....

MANILA, Philippines – Abalang-abala si Marian Rivera sa kanyang training para sa nalalapit na paglipad muli ni Darna sa telebisyon. Binisita ng iGMA ang newest Kapuso superhero para kamustahin ang kanyang paghahanda at para kunan na rin ng pahayag about the newest Pinoy-Thalia, si Carla Abellana, na siyang gaganap bilang Rosalinda.

Kitang-kita sa mukha ni Marian ang pagiging seryoso habang inaaral ang wushu at paglipad in preparation for Darna. Hinihingal at pawis na pawis kaming hinarap ni Marian pagkatapos ng isang session ng training niya.

Habang nagpapahinga, kinamusta namin ang Darna at tinanong kung kalian nga ba makikita ng viewers ng telebisyon ang nasabing show.

"Sa August pa ata ito, kasi na-move ang Rosalinda. Kailangan kasing i-launch muna siya eh. Syempre, 'pag nagsabay kami, parang sapawan naman. So sa kanya na muna [ang attention] bilang bago naman siya eh," ang paliwanag ni Marian sa amin.

Inamin niya na na-meet niya si Carla Abellana sa isang GMA event pero hindi sila masyadong nakapag-usap. Nang tinanong namin kung anong comment niya sa mga nakakapansin na magkahawig silang dalawa, natawa na lang ang dating gumanap na Pinoy Marimar.

“Nakita ko siya isang beses lang pero hindi pa kami nakakapag-usap, pero kung kahawig ko lang, wala naman sigurong masama dun, 'di ba? Okay naman," ang sabi ni Marian.

Tinanong din namin kung threatened ba siya sa good reviews at attention na nakukuha ni Carla ngayon as the newest Pinay Thalia.

"Hindi ah!" mabilis na tugon nito bago pa bumalik ulit sa next session niya ng training.. "Asus naman! Ang konti na nga ng leading ladies dito sa GMA, 'di ba? Okay na ‘yun.
