Based from the overnight tv ratings of AGB Nielsen in Mega Manila, here are the Top 15 programs from June 1 to 17, 2009:

3. Kapuso Mo Jessica Sojo - 32.1
4. Totoy Bato - 29.9

And based from the latest plug released by the kapuso network, GMA got 40.7% in Mega Manila Channel Share from June 1 to 17, 2009 while ABS-CBN received 30.3% and other networks share the remaining 10.4%.

The plug also points out the Urban Luzon Survey where they claim that it accounts 77% of all tv households in the country:

Sine Novela Presents ‘Kung Aagawin Mo ang Lahat sa Akin’ on GMA

Sine Novela Presents: Kung Aagawin Mo Ang Lahat Sa Akin is an upcoming soap opera on GMA Network and the fifteenth Sine Novela based from the original Sharon Cuneta movie which was released back in 1987.
This Sharon Cuneta-Jackielou Blanco-Tonton Gutierrez-Ricky Davao movie was produced by Viva Films and directed by Eddie Garcia. Now the movie version has finally a TV remake starring Maxene Magalona, Glaiza de Castro, Patrick Garcia and JC Tiuseco. This new afternoon daytime drama series airs on June 22 replacing the highly successful soap Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin of Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal.
Here’s the synopsis of the story (based from the film version):
Clara Andrada has a heart ailment and giving birth to a baby might prove fatal for her. Rather than risking his wife’s life just to have children, Gilbert decides to adopt a baby girl named Maureen.
Clara is against the idea so when she sees her husband so caught up with little Maureen, she decides to have a child of her own.
She survived the childbirth and that same moment began a life-long war against Maureen to keep Gilbert’s affections to herself and her daughter Gladys.

Based on the applause and cheers last night during the 59th year celebration of GMA 7 at Araneta Coliseum, there is no doubt that Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes are still the most popular Kapuso stars. Coming in second is the pair of Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal, who will soon be seen in the primetime series All My Life.



Meanwhile, Geoff Eigenmann and Carla Abellana looked so good together. But their appearance on stage did not elicit the same response as Dingdong and Marian or even Aljur and Kris, probably because the viewers have yet to see their chemistry on screen. But if everything works on their side, then their tandem will also become one of the most popular in no time.



Dingdong and Marian never appeared on stage together as they now have different projects; Darna for Marian and Stairway To Heaven for Dingdong. But during the finale, one of the country's most popular loveteams came out together.

In 2007 it was Judy Ann Santos. In 2008 it was KC Concepcion. This year, Marian Rivera is chosen by YES! Magazine to be the covergirl of their 100 Most Beautiful Stars issue.

This is the third year that YES! Magazine compiled their list of “100 beautiful stars” since they conceptualized the idea last 2007. Just like in their 2007 and 2008 edition, the list does not necessarily count to 100 stars as family, couple or a group will just count as one (1). The stars are also divided into various categories.
This year, the categories include “Couples”, “Glam Dads”, “Passing the Torch”, “The Venerables”, “Faces to Watch”, “Primetime Ladies”, “Leading Men”, “Princesses of the Cinema”, “The New Prince”, “Not Your Average Girls”, “Boys Next Door”, “Hunks and Babes”, “Multi-Talented”, “Beautiful at Any Age” and “The Adorables.”

Marian Rivera makes it on the cover of YES! 100 Most Beautiful Stars



Upcoming Darna lead star Marian Rivera bags this year's distinction as the cover of YES! magazine's 100 Most Beautiful Stars. Last year's honor belonged to KC Concepcion, who made it to the special issue's "Princesses of the Cinema" category this year.

"Sobrang bait nga ng YES! sa akin kasi last year, tapos 'yong isang year [2007] pa, kasama na ako, e, tapos ngayon kasama ulit ako," Marian told the entertainment press in an interview held this afternoon, June 22, at the Anabel's restaurant in Quezon City.

The 24-year-old actress—whose ascend to young superstar status in barely three years is nothing short of phenomenal—personally attended the launching of the magazine, where she herself unveiled the cover for all the guests to see.

The cover shows the Kapuso Network's current darling clad in a teasing strapless bustier mini-dress created by Arleen Sipat for Salsatrends.

"Marian Rivera is a star because she occupies that rare space between aspiration and accessibility," the accompanying article took note.

Aside from the cover girl, the launching was also graced by other celebrities who likewise entered the list; namely Paolo Contis, Donita Rose, Maxine Eigenmann, and Kevin Santos.

MATTER OF TASTE. Released annually by the country's top entertainment magazine, the 100 Most Beautiful Stars special issue aims to pay tribute to the country's "most good-looking in the land" in the field of show business.

"As lists go, there is no one lineup that will satisfy everybody. Beauty is a matter of taste. It is also, in our case, a matter of category and currency," editor-in-chief Jo-Ann Maglipon wrote.

While physical attributes combined with eye-candy allure undoubtedly played as the most telling ingredients in determining the names to be included in the final list, the YES! staff also puts utmost consideration on an individual's character, achievements both on and off the camera, and potential as important factors as determined by each and every category.
