GMA’s Matinding Marso - Lineup of New Shows

The Kapuso network launched their line-up of new programs and tv specials this month dubbed as “Matinding Marso.”



ALL ABOUT EVE - The Philippine version of the hit Korean tv series starring Iza Calzado, Richard Gomez, Sunshine Dizon, Jean Garcia, Eula Valdez, Mark Anthony Fernandez and Alfred Vargas. Pilot episode on March 9, 2009 under the Telebabad block.

ZORRO - The Philippine version of the Mexican legend starring Richard Gutierrez in the lead role. Pilot episode on March 23, 2009 under the Telebabad block.

DAPAT KA BANG MAHALIN? - The first leading role of Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal in the top-rating Sine Novela of GMA. Pilot episode is on March 2, 2009 under Dramarama sa Hapon.

CHIL PRINCESSES - The newest Koreanovela starring Park In Hwan, Kim Hae Sook, Kim Hye Sun & Lee Tae Ran to hit the afternoon block. Pilot episode is on March 16, 2009 under the Dramarama sa Hapon block.

GOKUSEN 3 - GMA’s latest Japanese series starring Nakama Yukie and Matsumoto Jun. Pilot episode is on March 23, 2009 under the Dramarama sa Hapon block.

Cosmo cover girl Marian Rivera poses in a bikini for the first time



If Marian Rivera was nervous about posing in a swimsuit for the first time on the cover of Cosmopolitan this March, the nerves didnt show. Marian is fun, fearless, and sexy as she poses confidently in a two-piece bikini for a cover that was shot outdoors, a first for Cosmo.

In this months issue, Marian tells Cosmo that she is well known in showbiz for being feisty and fearlessly frank. "Palaban talaga ako," she says, "[Pero] hindi naman ako nanlalaban na power trip lang. Pag may ginagawa ka sa kin, lalaban talaga ako, lalo na kung alam kong tama ako."

One of the issues that she addresses head-on is the accusation that she caused the breakup of her love-team partner Dingdong Dantes and his long-time girlfriend Karylle.

"Hindi talaga ako mang-aagaw," she declares, "Mismong si Dong ang nag-e-explain at alam ko kahit si Kaye, in-explain na di talaga ako involved sa kung anuman ang nangyari sa kanilang dalawa."

This is why she is seemingly unapologetic for whatever closeness she and Dingdong share now, a closeness that she refuses to pin a label on.

"Ayaw naming pangunahan kung anong meron kami ngayon. In-e-enjoy lang namin," she explains, "Wala naman siguro masama kasi pareho kaming single."

Marian shares that she and Dingdong do go out for dinner and movies, often meeting up when they dont have taping to look for new restaurants to eat in. "Whats important is were happy, and were able to go out."

So, is she in love? During the cover shoot for , Marian is glowing and gives off an aura of peace and serenity, prompting makeup artist Barbi Chan to quip, "In love siya. Kita eh."

But Marian herself says, "Mahirap sagutin kung in love ako. Basta masaya ako. Lahat ng nangyayari sa kin ngayon eh, ang saya."

Whatever she and Dingdong share is so new, she prefers to keep it to herself first. "Kapag okay na saka na lang ilabas. Basta happy ako."
