Roy Jones and Tito Trinidad never fought during their prime years coz they're at a different weight class divisions. Trinidad was fighting at welterweight during the 1990's while Jones was at middleweight, super middleweight and light heavyweight. Trinidad climbed at middleweight during the year 2000's while Jones was already full time at light heavyweight and even winning the heavyweight division crown when he outpointed John Ruiz for the WBA heavyweight title.

a prime tito has virtually no chance against a prime roy. he's just invincible at his prime. roy started to loose his aura of invincibility when he shred off 20+ pounds when he went back to light heavyweight to fight tarver. roy won the first game but he struggled and is showing signs of a fading fighter. larry merchant even said that "he didnt fight like roy" in the first match. a prime roy vs joe calzaghe would be a better match.

tito may have good defense but he's too slow for a very slick roy. he's a big mismatch against hopkins who roy beat convincingly during his prime
