di na mu-offer ang GBP that much this early bro.. as arum correctly put it - "... they (shaeffer & gbp) should first put some "air" into it (rematch)..." before they consider an immediate rematch.

gbp's verbal offer was US$ 6M for which arum immediately turned down... reason may be because he (arum) already assured david diaz (whos also his boy) of a pacman fight... arum, understandably, is leaning more of a pure top rank promotion rather than sharing with gbp... any involvement of gbp fighter would mean decreased arum profits.. hehehe

if manny wins against david diaz, the pacman-odlh fight is possible before the year ends... pacman might not get exactly the amount he have floated but he'll be having the biggest paycheck he'll ever have in that fight...

its more of a FANtasy fight... a fight just made happen to satisfy the cravings of their fans... no matter if Pac wins that fight or not, fans wont care... the fight is being made not for glory but for money.
