Brazilian Vs Japanese Jiu Jitsu
What is the difference between the styles of Jiu Jitsu?

The difference is really that BJJ focuses on the ground while JJJ focuses on stood up techniques and self-defense. There are rarely competitions in traditional Dojos, but in BJJ, they are likely to be commonplace. In terms of which will be more fun or more effective; again it depends on what you put into it. Any martial art can be useful or useless, depending on how you train and how you listen, to the instruction. Whatever it is you choose to train in – pay attention and train hard. The rewards will be intrinsic.

@kyla_bacs, DOC...good natured pud na sila doc...got old close friends at USC judoka boys, but dont think active pa sila...ill ask around...bilib pud ko ana nila judo boys, well disciplined pud na sila and respectful with the other Martial Arts...

@poppaSmurf, nice info bro...and I also hear that in Japan its not Jiu-jitsu...it is called JUJUTSU...in Brazil which is Portuguez the way they pronounce Jujutsu is wat it is now...Jiu-jitsu(zhu-zitsu)...OH PLEASE ANYONE CORRECT me if u think Im wong...and if the info bout Jujutsu and Jiu-jitsu is wong...thanks...
