ok. let's start and post our picks in both Eastern and Western Conferences:


just copy, paste and put your picks including total number of games played in the series. since we can't gamble here in the forums, let's just play a game. the member who has the most number of points (winning team =1 pt., games played=1 pt.) will have the bragging rights here in istorya (NBA 2008 SEASON ISTORYA WINNER or whatever title you wanna have) for the whole year. for example if your picks (winning team and number of games) matches the official result then you have two points. if you only have the winning team then you have 1 point. perfect score for round one is 16. last entry (picks for the first round) submitted (unedited) will be 1 minute before the start of WAS-CLE 1230 PM EST Saturday (so 1229 AM Sunday (Morning), Philippine time). any posts/entry edited after the cut-off will be automatically disqualified. second round picks will start as soon as all first round games are done and so on and so forth. points will be carried-over to the next round until the finals so I think 30 is the magic number.

There's no disrespect actually. The four-game sweep is VERY LIKELY because it's the Atlanta Hawks. After all, I'm just happy for them to be in the playoffs BUT they need to get rid of their head coach, Mike Woodson. Hawks are gonna end up the season with 6 straight losses and that includes the series against Boston.

simple scoring rules:

winning pick = 1 point
winning number of games = 1 point

example:

Celtics win over Hawks in 4 games. (official result)

those who pick Celtics = 1 point
those who pick 4 games = 1 point

so if pick is Hawks in 4

Hawks = 0 point
no. of games = 1 point

or if pick is Celtics in 5 then

Celtics = 1 point
no. of games = 0 point

so if pick is Hawks in 5 = 0 point
