i beg to differ. the people's knowledge about God didnt came from the bible, because if you say so, then Moses then dont have any knowledge of God because the Bible didnt exists their time so its quite wrong to generalize that the peoples knowledge about God came from the Bible, It is also wrong to generalize so because it would leave the people of the other faiths alienated, Muslims, Hindus,, Buddhist, Taoists, and many others who doesnt hold the bible as their guide to Truth,

And such a statement is also in the assumption that the bIble itself is perfect without flawed and the source of this assumption could be well said taken from the bible itself. Its as if im writing a book, a then saying this is all true and perfect, and the reader appaled by the book would take it as something perfect and unflawed. So it is necessary to scrutinize the bible through reason and not merely by Faith. The truth in religion lies in its inner consistency, without it, it becomes absurd. We couldnt based everything through Faith, because in the first place, and in context with the bible, we have to practice reason in the interpretation of the sacred scriptures. It is really absurd to simply say that we are on the right track because we read the bible or so, the Irish Republican Army are predominantly if not all Catholics, in my opinion they are the best paramilitary group when it comes to bombs and to technicalities, the Islamic EXTREMISTS always pointing out that they have their inspiration from the Quran, the point of the matter is that, if we are to engage in a dialogue concerning the Religion and Faith, we have to use reason and not faith alone, it is not bad to based our religion in faith alone, but if it is so, one should remain in silence, because he/she is secure of his faith, and faith alone is something that is not a good place in dialogue.

- yes coz without the dark side there'd be no reason for people to take refuge from, people need not worship god anymore... for what?

I think it's not fair, church is the House of God (1 Timothy 3:15) But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

I didn't say that "all people", Moses wrote the first five books (Genesis, Exodus, Numbers, Leviticus, and Deuteronomy) then the kings, prophets and apostles continue writting through the help of the Spirit of Christ. The word or message of God will be sent and deliver by angels and will be written by the dectate of the Spirit of Chirst. It was written for us to have fellowship with them and have a physical basis.

Believing and following God must have Hope, Faith, and Love. If you have these three then you will see salvation and will see God.

Matthew spoke of wisemen, not kings. they were astrologers, or magi/mages. astrologers served the courts of ancient kings. astrology was reli big @ dat time, most of them even relied on it for their self preservation. its was even said that they were priests of Zarathustra/Zoroaster, magi, being a priestly caste in ancient persia.

i agree wd rlcrl. the wiseman story seems probable than the 'kings'. it was much safer in those days to be a simple traveler, or even an astrologer, than to admit to being a king, least they be held hostage/ransommed for traveling without protection. if they were indeed royalty, certainly they wldnt have broadcast their true status, especially as the reputation of their prospective host was a most unsavory one.

Satan was welcomed or entered in this world because of 1 man and that was Adam.
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Man was created to worship and serve God, Church is a place where the followers and children of God gather.
