I don't know. Last week, my kid had a fever, cough and colds.

.. what the heck. that's scary. have you consulted a "mananambal" for that ?? usually, all you do is to make an offering to The Others and hope that they will accept it. Try swearing loudly, even if you don't swear, do it, they say that swearing discourages The Others.


.. my sister also had this: Way back when she was still in high school, she suddenly got ill, very high fever about 40s to 41s, then at exactly 6 pm, she starts to mumble weird stuff, random words. My mom is a nurse by the way, so, she knows what to do but still we referred her to a medical doctor and the doctor gave prescriptions which didn't worked. The weird things continued for 5 straight days and always at 6 pm but the worst thing of all was when she cried out and said that there was a green hand reaching out for her. We went to a mananambal and she said that an Other is trying to court my sister because of her long straight hair. And so, the mananambal adviced to cut off her hair ( butt-level-long ) and my sister to swear out loudly. And we made some offerings, you know, the common, white chicken, white piglet. The swearing was really fun because she just randomly goes pisti, yawa, animal, buysit ning kinabuhia. Thankfully, it worked. I was just in elementary that time, but in retrospect, that's really unexplainable.

thanx so much. we consulted already a mananambal. an offering was made at the home place of my wife.

do we really need to swear? I don't want to upset them.

I made an offering last saturday. I put it to the place where my son pointed.

And he didn't have the usual 6:00 pm fever anymore.

Still need more opinions for this matter.

.. as far as i know, swearing won't anger them, it will just discourage them to "like" your family. Our mananambal said that The Others tend to like families who are so tamed and silent and girls with long hairs.


.. by the way, what did the mananambal said ?? is it really The Others or maybe just a ghost of a dead relative who just wants to play with your kid ??

fin, being an atheist that you are, i'm surprised that you even believe in "mananambals" and the so-called "the others". usually, atheists don't believe in any of those crap.

i will consult first the mananambal about swearing.
