there are lots of great men who are/were Freemasons. but still the Church still continues to see them as a threat. they say there are lot of reasons for Masons to branded as such. but the most infamous reasons would be: that Freemasonry is connected with Devil worship.

i do not agree with this.

it was the early Church leaders who, acting on their narrow-mindedness, branded the Masons as heretics because they have practices or possess knowledge that are different from the Church. they saw the Masons as a threat.

the Masons encouraged free-thinking and so the Church views this as a threat to their institution of Dogmas.

remember why Galileo was executed? because he believed that the Earth revolves around the Sun which was against the Church's beliefs that the Sun revolves around the Earth. and so he was silenced, permanently.

in numerous ways, the Masons contributed greatly among the society in general by encouraging free-thinkers to develop their creative ideas on how improve our world. and so the Rennaissance began.

the Masons continue to exist today and growing more stronger in numbers. maybe a lot of people are awakening to the Dogma instilled by the Church.

Freemasonry is just an organization. it's not a religion. as long as you believe in one God, in one Supreme Being, in the Great Architect of the Universe, you may petition for membership in a Masonic Lodge.

as for the conspiracies, there will always be conspiracies. ('c',)

Jacques De Molay was not a Mason. He was the last Grand Master of the Knights Templar. although, there is reason to believe that the Order didn't die with him because it was discovered in a Charter of Transmission that he passed the Grand Mastership to John Mark Larmenius.

there is also another secret society. have you guys heard of the Rosicrucians?

i saw a documentary about galileo regarding his radical but truthful theory about the universe..he was forced to recant because this will totally encourage free thinking which the catholic church discouraged kai mawala nman ilang hold sa mga tao..if dli pa unta ingon ana ang church then all these secret societies and other secret teachings etc. wouldn't be a secret anymore and can freely influence other possible brilliant minds thus dli murag pagong ang dagan sa advancement sa human race..in my opinion the christian church..that's our christian church contributed a lot to the wars in the middle ages and reduced or nakapawagtang sa mga importante ug angay tagaan ug importansya nga mga pagtulun-an..

it wasn't only Galileo who theorized the Heliocentric concept. there was also Nicolaus Copernicus who also said the Earth revolves around the sun and not the other way around.

secret societies are also important mr.ramini. it's because the secret teachings has to be taught by degrees depending on the person's development and preparedness.

even Jesus underwent Initiation as he ascended into becoming one of our Great Masters.

like the Knights Templar, the Masons also have guarded secrets. if it was a common secret with the Templars, no one knows for certain.

i know the excommunication against the Masons still stand today. but who cares? you don't really need a priest to be saved, right? these days, it is some of the priests that need saving. i.e., have you guys read the Gospel of Shame? it's about the scandals committed by some of our "Holy" men against women, little boys, and their parish.

i know there is God. but i refuse to believe that priests should be our "liasion officer" to Paradise. they're just people like us. and a few of them are Masons themselves.

so these days, it doesn't really matter much if they are still a threat to the Church. because for Masons, the Church is definitely not a threat to them at all.

they answer only to the Great Architect of the Universe.

for the millions of people around the world who are the flock of the Church, their faith is the only thing they know. and it has become their comfort zone already that if you introduce a whole new concept of thinking, they'll treat you as poison.

and will brand you as heretics.

the Masons at some point in the past have been branded as such, in one way or another.

being excommunicated or discriminated doesn't really matter much now to them. because the Masons know the Truth.

the teachings of the Church are not always necessarily the best. the trouble with some priests is that they want to instill their teachings as the absolute truth.

but the truth is... they can't handle the Truth.
