Jacques Demolay is last Grand Master of the Knights Templar he is not a mason at that time.
Our organization is named after him because of his heroic fedility. we the DeMolays are the present templars.

Hala... Rainbow ra ba ko. hehehehe... kidding lang oi.

Bitaw, we can not deny that Freemasons are here and will never be disbanded. Unlike sa panahon sa Knights Templars because they were starting to get rich then ordered for their arrest and if they resist (which they did) off their heads! (metaphorically speaking). I firmly believe that the masonic fraternity may, therefore, be quite properly regarded as a religious society. I say religious because that remains to be seen.

All I can say that there are LOTS of misconceptions about Freemasons...

i dont know in specific what they are, but that kind of fame, misconceptions about them are inevitable.

Anyways, are Masons really enemies of the Church?

One thing is for certain: The Church considers Freemasonry as a threat. For reasons that are obvious, or for reasons that we can only assume. We dont know...

And religion is a tricky thing.

You cant argue what a pig looks like. But you can argue what love means. And same goes with religion.

The word religion is just a label. Its a word that refers to something. Unfortunately, people have different meanings for it. It is a label that if you have your own interpretation of, you will find it 'misinterpreted' by others. Simply bacause people have differing interpretations. Thus, the same people would argue forever who is right or who is wrong.

For those who would probably misunderstand me, what I meant with "who is right or who is wrong" doesnt follow with the argument of whose religion is the "true" one or not. I am merely saying that the word religion is often given various meanings. Meanings that could be right for some, but wrong for others.

And this type of situation goes to MOST, if not ALL 'intangible' words, like the words love, commitment, etc.

And Ill re-iterate again: You cant argue what a pig looks like. But you can argue what love means. And same goes with religion.

Alel

Perfectly said Alel.

Based on my understanding and analysis on how all the priests, bishops, cardinals and even the pope talks about GOD, Jesus Christ and the Bible, whether you are a good person who attends church every day ora serial killer who had killed hundreds of people, God still loves you and willing to forgive you.

Excommunication is a word that was invented by the medieval church to make sure that the kings bow down to the church.

If you do a quick research on history (or even in wikipedia.org), you would come to know the reason why the masons are being treated negatively by the Vatican.

My religion is Roman Catholic, I believe and love Jesus Christ but I don't believe what all people (includes priests and such) say or write all the time.
