Romans 14:14
As one who is in the Lord Jesus, I am fully convinced that no food is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for him it is unclean.

Jesus Christ has already washed it by his blood not only our sins, but He renewed the old covenant. But if you consider eating pork unclean it's up to you.

Everything has a purpose.
As far as pigs are concerned, God created them for the same reasons He did other animals.
Why did He create rattlesnakes, scorpions, or black widow spiders?
Pigs are beneficial in some ways, as are all other living creatures.

brod, since you have your Bible....you might want to read ACTS 10 and 11....you can reflect on these chapters.


ACTS 10

Acts 11
1And the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.

6Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
7And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.
8But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth.
9But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
