Ako I have read the bible and kasabot pod ko kung unsay nakasulat diha.

That's why I dont ask bible verses from any Christians kay whenever they state a Christian principle kabalo ko sa mga verses kung asa na nila gi base ang ilang arguments.

study in islam is highly appreciated with me. but due to the hectic schedule interest has been delay.
so thats why i want an open minded islam believers just to share their ideas about in koran. in little by little we can cope up just a basic idea of koran. remember this is ur chance to preach a little word in the koran through the net. don't entertain those pretender and want to insult ur religion.

IMO, this is the wrong place to know more about ISLAM.

first of all, MALIC is the only muslim active around here (i think). thus, if there are any credible answers to questions about islam, that's gotta be coming from him.

second, people here either get their knowledge from the INTERNET (which is expected), or at the very least, PRETEND they know something about ISLAM.

third, if you get lucky, you'd come across someone who is an expert of ISLAM which i highly doubt there are any on this board.

fourth, you'd get ridiculed by fundies who only care about JESUS AS THEIR GOD and nothing else. no matter how you argue with them---you always lose and they always win.

How one becomes a Muslim?

To be a Muslim one has to make a declaration of the Islamic faith in the public or in the presence of witnesses who are Muslims.


Anyone can be a Muslim if he/she wishes so. Chinese,Americans,Mexicans,Australians, any ethnicity are welcome as long as you enter by your own will. But first you must study Islam. How do you study Islam? Go to an Islamic Center or check the internet for websites that teaches Islam and not on forums.

Effort is the key here. Islam is not into " stirring " people's emotion, we don't have praise and worship bands to attract the people. We don't promised people that if you give seed money you'll get rich and all your problems and diseases will be healed.

Islam is looking for sincere followers and that sincerity is best express when one sits with a teacher and not on forums.
