Crowley recognized Blavatsky as a Sister of A\A\ (i.e. a Master of the Temple 8°=3# in his system of spiritual grades), specifically pointing her out as his immediate predecessor in "The Temple of Truth," published in The Heart of the Master through O.T.O. in 1938. He thought it especially noteworthy that he was born in the same year that the Theosophical Society was inaugurated. Crowley reissued Blavatsky's Voice of the Silence (Extracts from the Book of the Golden Precepts, including "The Two Paths" and "The Seven Portals") with his own commentary as Liber LXXI, a Class B publication of A\A\.
Crowley "regarded his own system, Thelema, as the child of the Golden Dawn and Theosophy." (p. 47) The following observations may shed light on some obscure features of the Aeonic myth of Thelema. WHo is Crowley? I hope reg can answer this one. |

sa akong pag-basa bahin sa theosophy. murag too ambitious ra kaayo. sa akong pag-sabot i-analyze sa theosophy ang tanang relihiyon og siyensa i-descard ang dili maayo og ang maayo (katong gikan sa gino-o) mao to i-intergrate sa ilang pilosopya. pero unsa on nila pag-kabalo nga gikan to sa gino-o o dili? mao nga too ambitious ra kaayo.. pero wala ko mag sulti nga dili ni mabuhat ha.. basin mao na ni ang future nga tinu-huan wa ta kabawo

"We are about to found a magazine of our own, Lucifer. Don’t allow yourself to be frightened: it is not the devil, into which the Catholics have falsified the name of the Morning Star, sacred to all the ancient world, of the ‘bringer of light,’ Phosphoros, as the Romans often called the Mother of God and Christ. And in St. John’s Revelation does it not say, ‘I, Jesus, the morning star’? I wish people would take this to mind, at least. It is possible that the rebellious angel was called Lucifer before his fall, but after his transformation he must not be called so...." H.P. Blavatsky in a letter to her sister Vera. "Open your columns to free and fearless discussion, and do as the theosophical periodicals have ever done, and as LUCIFER is now preparing to do. The 'bright Son of the morning' fears no light. He courts it, and is prepared to publish any inimical contributions (couched, of course, in decent language), however much at variance with his theosophical views. He is determined to give a fair hearing in any and every case, to both contending parties and allow things and thoughts to be judged on their respective merits. For why, or what should one dread when fact and truth are one's only aim?" H.P. Blavatsky in Lucifer, October, 1887.
Lucifer Magazine? Contrast kaayo ilang mga pagtoo sa pagtoo sa bibliya...in other words mga luciferian jud ni sila. I maybe wrong? but inyo sa e prove. Then the magazine was later changed to "The Theosophical Review". |

but everything else is just like this ra man pud.. personally, i would rather have an optimistic happy and good outlook than give up on this world already.. easy to say, hard to do.. when you undergo the hardships, sometimes, you just want to give up.. kung ang ginoo istoryahan, lisod kaau.. kay everybody has his/her own idea of God. ang maau, dili na lng na i-discuss. better to measure its goodness/badness on the outcome. |
