@ruelnov bro, I have a DFI motherboard, it's a socket 462.. 2 weeks a ago it suddenly hung and won't boot anymore, when i checked it i saw some capacitor blown... what i did is i changed the blown capacitor with the same volt and uf from my spare board (6.3V 1000uf) from a cellfone repair shop... but nothing happens.. still it wont boot? what would be the problem? can you fix this? pila ako estimated magasto? ty.

ruelnov bai, will visit your shop next saturday, ill bring all four of my mobo a barracuda 40 gig and 2x10.2 gig seagate and a maxtor hard drive.
i hope this gest fixed. the seagate HD just cant be detected on bios (atleast wala pa noisy/crunchy motor sounds ) thanks in advance. ngayo pako budget sa tag iya para repair |

sir, how much is the chance for my 20gb samsung hard disk.. S.M.A.R.T. failed then naa pud bad sectors.. it's still running but produces lots of errors in the eventvwr.. I already did spinrite for the whole day but doesn't give a satisfactory result.

i-partition by FDISK then i-format. kon dili moungot in either step as above, it's a good HDD (or no physical bad sectors). that's the best QC of an HDD, esp. when followed by Scandisk to determine if there are "hard-to-read" sectors. of course, there are specialized tools to repair HDD but when it comes to end-user testing there's no fancy about it, and the 3 tools mentioned above are very much adequate already for end users. |
