@darkwing: Bro, I bought a HDMI-DVI cable. I just wanted to try out digital output. The cable is cheap so I didn't mind buying one even though I have a vga box. What I first noticed is that its not really better than the vga card. It even has lower quality graphics IMO. Is this ryt? I set it to the same resolution as the vga box (720p). But it seems to have more ragged edges (more aliasing) than what I remember with the vga box.

wow where did u buy the HDMI-DVI cable? in the 226BW, what res lumalabas? 1280 x 720 din? I would think that the HDMI-DVI would provide more brilliant color, if the VGA box is more smooth i think its because meron pa processing ginagawa sa VGA box? have to try it myself ^_^ pero the best talaga ang HDTV ^_^

Sa play-asia. ^_^ around P200+ ra. I think same res lang kay na-set man to 720p ang PS3. I noticed more brilliant color too and mas hayag pa. Nwy, Ya best jud ang HDTV. No plans of acquiring an HDTV now. But generally I'm very much satisfied with the LCD monitor. Its the best I could have now aside from an HDTV. Hehehe.

Here's my 226BW + PS3 set-up. Thnx for all the info. It helped me in setting this up. (no match to your HDTV set-up though, bear with me )

wow nice one ^_^ naa pa gyud info bar hehe well 95% of the time naa rako dula sa 226BW, HDTV lang kung ganahan hehe para save sad sa electric hehehe mas nindot pa gyud bai i connect the receiver through optical or kung pwede HDMI gyud lols lami kaayo ang sounds maski MP3 lang, then sa games like sa Heavenly grabe ka nindot lols i rarely do it though kay saba daw lols

Hehe. Thnx. Nwy, I have a hard time using Remote Play post-fw2.0. Dili ko ka-connect using my PSP. Hmm... do i have to sync the PS3 and PSP again?

Nwy, unsa man imo suggestions in taking care of the PS3? Is it advisable to remove the disk everytime after you finished playing? or is it ok to leave it in the PS3?

hmm sa ako naa man pirmi ang disk @_@ hmmm basta naay lang proper ventilation ang PS3 ok raman, kulata na kaayo ako ps3 gani hehe been doing some Folding@Home gani, i've finished several work units that takes 8 hours each lols not really concerned about overheating, i haven't heard a single case ani, oh kato ra diay iya gi tape ang ventilation holes para dili daw kasulod ang dust lols

anyways, naghinay2x nalng ko diri ug palit ug items sa ps3 like the eye toy...murag hinay2x nako ani ug invest nasad sa ps3 kai maka suya jd inyong mga display ngad2 sa pinoypsx... hehehe... just bought a EOJ 2nd hand here aroun 1500petot nalng (naka discount pako ani since 3000petot man unta ang 2nd hand)...

ask lang diay ko if pila ang orig na DS3 dha? dako ba jd ug diff sa sixaxis lang na controller or gamay ra coz if dako jd, basin mu kuha lang guro ko isa sad if naa (around 2000petot man ang DS3 dri) ?

@ashleyriot: I've been to Datablitz (Ayala) and iTech. They don't have DS3 yet. You mean dako ang difference sa price or sa features/item itself? If its the price, I can't say. Play-asia is selling it for 3k though. If its about the DS3vsSIXASIS, its alil heavier than the sixasis but the weight is still ideal (from what I've read). I'm contemplating in getting one myself but I'm not sure if its really worth it to get it now. But, if 2k ra dira then I guess its cheap. I'm thinking about the FragFX Controller though. Nwy, how much is an eyetoy dra?

thanks for the info bai... slight ra kaayo ang price sa DS3 and the SIXAXIS here...coz if maka palit ko ug DS3 then i might sell my other controller since ala pa man sad to nako ma open jd...playasia is like pricing them around 150% from here but still, nindot sila since daghan sila ika offer na items...too bad my account with them is not valid anymore...tsk tsk tsk...

as for the eyetoy, its still bundled with the Eye of Judgment (jap version) game so the price is around 3600petot (sayop diay sa taas, ang 2nd hand is around 2700petot...:P )...
