anybody doing game design, or game arts, or programming/scripting, or modding another game as a hobby? or as a serious past time?

anybody has heard of torque game engine? darkbasic? gamemaker?

care to post what you are working on?
im currently trying to learn torquescript(for torque game engine)

I'm using Game Maker 5 (registered) and currently working on a drum engine (though not a game really) on it. Yes I've heard of Torque and Dark Basic but they're too complex for me. I will also port my drum engine to Adobe Director 11 soon after I finish adding a metronome on the prototype. Ayus hindi lang pala ako nagiisa!

You can also use irrlicht (Irrlicht Engine - A free open source 3d engine). Easy to use and c++ programming skills is required.
I'm also trying to create a simple virtual sims like game using the engine and put some scripting on it, but it is still on early stage.

i tried 3d modelling and i stopped. hard to choose what hobby to do kung ang medium is a pc. so karon sigi rakog games haha simple ra kaauy

what type of game are you making RPG?, RTS? or FPS?, if you are making an FPS try using Quake engine it's free and it is mostly used, like COD, Medal of Honor and many more...

ive been modding game for quite a while since RA95...

Why Quake Engine?
Because it is used buy most biggest and successfull FPS games, like Half Life, Call of Duty, Medal of Honor.. and the best of all ITS FREAKIN FREEEEEE...
