@TS, can you give me the exact brand and model of the router? As per my observation with some PLDT routers, bisag eh change and admin password and even the mac filtering, there are still ways to break in. If imo gi-off/disable ang wifi most likely, malware jud tingale na which already resides sa imo PC and once your PC connects to the modem, it alters/modifies the config of your router.

I configured my PLDT modem/router to bridge mode then hook it up to my Pfsense box para safe.

an old hacking technique to gain access router, by using iframe.... if you didnt change your router gateway ip or user/password then you are mostly likely get hacked, ive seen this sauna sa rootcon as a proof of concept... even accessing a website, couple years ago naay malware site nga nikatag sa FB nga naa payload to hack router....

just disable the WLAN access to the control panel... thats what i did nga ang naka wire ra ang maka open sa control panel...

connect your newly issued router on a "clean" computer if you have one. freshly installed os, free from any cracked softwares etc. and see if the problem will pop up or not

wlan was off.. they were able to turn it on still.. anyway, new router as of the moment.. since 2 days ago no hacking happened yet..

thats good news, isa pud bantayi lang pud nga wala nasunog imo router sige raba ma-igo ang linya sa PLDT sa kilat... 3 na ka router niagi nako...

ako i balik ang ako password. after few hours, ibalik napud nya sa iya number................ ako gi txsan.. ask daw sya load.. mag tagalog man.. tawagan sa phone, dili tubagon...

gianhi nako ug pldt. gi ilisan na nila ug router. so far wala na ni mausab.
