If you guys remember Age of Empires back in the day ... this is pretty much the same RTS game ... except it is played online and has MMORPG qualities such as gear and levelling up for your units. There are premium options, but you don't need to buy it ... the main game is free. The game also has Xbox Live gamerpoints if you are into that,

“Age of Empires III Gold Edition” combines the exciting “Age of Empires III” and its respective expansion pack, “Age of Empires III: The WarChiefs,” for one compelling gaming experience at a great value.
