Hello. newbie here. I'm interested in the concept you have here.
I only have a small amount of books on hardcopy for reading pero kung naa ganahan makipag swap ok rin.
Some i have are: Jane Austen's pride and prejudice, Oscar Wilde's Portrait of Dorian Gray, Micheal Cunningham's The Hours and some other fiction works.
Ok ra pud nako mag "swap-borrow"?, if dili pa ready e let go jud ang book( i know that feel)?hopefully if we become well acquainted enough

@Sol_Itaire, you still willing with parting with your Steve Jobs? I'm almost done with 1Q84 (Murakami), are you interested in a swap?

    Hi..

I'm new to the site but I'd love to be part of this book swapping group. .. I'm currently looking for Paulo Coelho books (I've avoided reading his books for the longest time and people say that he's actually good.) I'd love to read Brida, 11 minutes, and Zahir. For Sci-fi: I'd love to re-read the DUNE series by Frank Herbert.. (Dune, Dune Messiah, Children of Dune, God Emperor of Dune, Heretics of Dune, The White Plague, etc).

Here are the books that I have:
Haruki Murakami (I adore him. Please take care of the books..:
    1. Dance, Dance, Dance
    2. After Dark
    3. A Wild Sheep Chase
    4. Sputnik Sweetheart
    5. Norwegian Wood
    6. IQ84

If you're into Filipino Writers -- Here are some good books that I can lend:
    1. Para Kay B - Ricky Lee
    2. Ligo na u, lapit na me - Eros Atalia
    3. Peksman (mamatay ka man) Nasisinungaling ako (at iba pang kwentong kasinungalingan na di pa dapat paniwalaan) - Eros Atalia
    4. The Best of This is a Crazy Planets - Lourd Ernest De Veyra
    5. Lumayo ka nga sa akin - Bob Ong (not for his hardcore fans as he changed his usual format; mostly satirical blows but it's still smart and funny).

    Sci Fi:
    * A Clash of Kings - George R.R. Martin (sequel to his book: A Song of Fire and Ice) -- the 4 other books were borrowed for the time being.

    P.S.

Sounds interesting! I've long wanted to do bookswaps, but haven't been on iStorya for a while now.
Unfortunately, I usually ship my books back to my hometown after I finish reading them. I'll bring them back when I can finally move into my own place and get a huge, huge, HUGE bookshelf!

But here's what I have for now:
    1) Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother - Amy Chua (fun read, IMHO)
    2) Kikomachine Komix Blg 6 - Manix Abrera (1-5 are back home, I'm a huge fan)

Right now I'm looking for The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins for some light reading. I got an ebook and audiobook though, which I've started on.

By the way, with regard to the location, have you finalized Kopiroti? Because I also heard of this cafe in Sarrosa Hotel that holds a lot of books. Bookworm heaven daw, but I haven't had the chance to check it out yet This is the place btw https://www.istorya.net/forums/arts-a...ffee-shop.html
