Default Yahoo! Messenger™ online status on your website

To allow your site visitors to see a particular Yahoo! Messenger user's online status, simply use the following HTML code:

    Code:
    <a href="ymsgr:SendIM?username"><img src="http://opi.yahoo.com/online?u=userna...;m=g&t=2"></a>
    where u = username
t = type of online status icon

You can also use values 0 and 1 for t to choose online status icon designs.

When a site visitor clicks on the online status icon, Yahoo! Messenger will run on his computer, if available. If Yahoo! Messenger is already running, a new chat session window will appear.

Meebo just celebrated its first birthday a couple of days ago. Amazing web application!
    Thanks for the info, Istudyante-Ni-Pikoy.

There's even a meebo widget available for chatting directly on our own websites.

I have yet to see if it can work directly with the Yahoo! Messenger desktop application instead of logging on to Meebo.com everytime.

im using www.onlinestatus.org, a free third party online status indicator for ym, msn, aol, icq... although it's kinda buggy. sometimes the indicator shows that im online even im not. o_O

well... duh.... it's just direct image hotlinking and refferencing. It's very handy.
It's kinda funny sometimes, it's like convincing visitors thought that you are "online". It's a very nice add-on, specially if you are offering services.

it's really handy since our live chat support sometimes goes off and on... its a good backup for communication to loyal customers. ^___^
