Default Cherry Mobile One and Myphone Uno

THE TWO ANDROID ONE OF THE PHILIPPINES
    For Cherry Mobile One Specs:

Google finally unveiled and launched Android One in the Philippines earlier this afternoon. To kick things off they partnered with two local brand smartphone companies for their first salvo of devices. One of those companies is none other than Cherry Mobile and we’d like to share with you guys our hands-on initial impressions review of the Android One powered Cherry Mobile One.
Before anything else let’s quickly review the specs!
    Cherry Mobile One specs

    • 1.3GHz quad-core processor
    • 1GB of RAM
    • 4.5-inch TFT capacitive display, Asahi Glass
    • 8GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD up to 32GB
    • 5-megapixel rear camera with BSI
    • 2-megapixel front camera
    • Dual-SIM
    • 3G
    • WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS
    • Android 5.1 Lollipop
    • 1780mAh battery

Sweet. Yes folks, that’s Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box! On to our initial impressions!

The Cherry Mobile One is a beautiful device. It looks absolutely phenomenal for a smartphone under Php5,000.

    For Myphone Uno specs:

Google recently launched the Android One initiative here in the Philippines and one of their partners, MyPhone, unveiled their Android One offering, the MyPhone Uno. We were able to spend time with this device earlier this afternoon during Google’s launch event in White Space, Makati. While it’s too early to give you guys a solid verdict, we can already confidently say that this phone is a solid and reliable option mainly because of Google’s support and the product price point.
For you techies out there, here’s the spec sheet!
    MyPhone Uno Specs

    • 4.5-inch FWVGA display
    • 1.3GHz Cortex A7 quad-core processor
    • 1GB RAM
    • 4GB storage
    • Expandable to 32GB
    • 5MP rear camera
    • 2MP front camera
    • Dual-SIM
    • 1700mAh battery
    • Android Lollipop 5.1
    • Price: Below Php5,000

Best thing about the MyPhone Uno? It comes with Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box. That’s the latest and greatest Android update. As we said in our previous articles, the main benefit with Lollipop is that it greatly enhances the performance and reliability of the device. We felt this with the MyPhone Uno during our initial tests. Over-all experience was smooth, fluid, and seamless. It’s amazing how much better Android became since Lollipop came about!

    pili na?? hehe

    Naka palit ko cherry mobile.
So far ok ra man akong experience, dili gyud siya pang heavy user kay gamay ang battery dali ra ma lowbat. Pero it will last a day of moderate use lang like txt, check pila ka mins sa coc, etc. But ok iya standby time.

Hardware ug build quality kay maantos ra, what can you expect for 3999.

Pero ang pina ka biliban nako is ang stock android (5.1) smooth kaau and wala ko naka experience ug lag whatsoever.. Since gikan gyud sa google ang os expect nga permi una sa mga update.

Bottomline, i bought this tungod sa software and sulit kaau walay mahay..
