    Default XDA2: file shortcut not removed after program uninstalled


    i uninstalled some programs on my xda2 but the shortcut in START> PROGRAMS are still there... of course, the shortcuts are of no use since i uninstalled already the programs... how do i delete these shortcuts?

    Try this pre.

    Use your favorite file manager prog (ex. resco file explorer). Go to MY DEVICE> WINDOWS> PROGRAMS. Look for the shortcut then delete. Though I'm using Ipaq hx4700, but I think its the same ra.

    Or you can use POCKET MECHANIC or SK TOOLS to look for dead shortcuts arun mas sayun. good luck!

    asa man ta anang pocket mechanic or sk tools? bro, i tried, but my WINDOWS> PROGRAMS is empty...

    heheh. sorry pre. its WINDOWS> START MENU> PROGRAMS. I forgot the Start Menu directory - my bad

    try www.pocketgear.com . or www.s-k-tools.com for the SKTools.

    apil nya sa EB,bro. you get to learn more sa mga masters diri.

    also if you want to make new shortcuts, just press and hold the app then click send to start menu.
