If i'm not wrong his parents are bizdaks (Dumaguete), and he knows bisaya very well. I think i saw him on a Jollibee tv ad many years ago, the conversation was in Bisaya mixed up with Tagalog.

Though his album doesnt show his true genre interest, i think this is about compromise. He has to make a living. Siguro pa established na sya, he could probably make a metal filled album.
