Kasabot ko's imong point about technology. Let's go back to your statement about how his mobo won't live for 5 years. Imong point is ma obsolete na ang SSD - this might be true, but by the time it already is, the SSD/HDD nga naa ni TS would suffice his usage.
True, M.2 might start to dominate the market, but please take note that it's one of the most expensive types of storage. If indeed mobo manufacturers would end their support for HDD/SSD, that would mean lower profit for those companies. Why? I'm pretty sure more or less 50% of the PC users don't really need an M.2. Most won't even be able to afford a good storage capacity for the M..
OP, as mentioned, you're good to go with that build.
GO FOR BROKE para walai basol.
ayaw lang na i apil ang Pisonet kai profit driven ma na...WE are talking personal gaming rig. I doubt it you are using 1080p monitor for 'pisonet'...
ka old school pud dagway anang m.2 ssd oi,,wla mai bisag heat spreader nlng..hehe..bsta ako,mka 60fps on max settings lng pyts na...
