collectors send you a subpoena, but if you read it properly, there really is no civil case number (well, not for the first demand letter i think). if they threaten you na ma priso ka, retaliate na it was not your choice to get one. sila ra bya jud na mamugos na magka card mo. but i think it's also not fair not to pay back what you owe them. and the next time, use a debit card. that's way better para naa kay check and balance sa imong finances

not paying credit card debt wont get you blacklisted sa immigration or sa DFA. wala sila labot ana. civil case ang credit card debt, wala pud warrant of arrest, or even police or issuance of nbi clearance wont be affected, even issuance of passport.

i know someone who owns almost 200k of credit card debt but was issued a 10-year multiple entry visa to the states.

instead of avoiding to pay the cc dues, let's encourage debtors to repay
their debts, to fulfill their repayment responsibilities.

i could not imagine why some people are gutsy to take loans, credit

Mao sad ni ako situation karon sa standard chartered bank though wa paman sila padala letter of demand.. sige ra man sad ko pay sa fix monthly amount gud.. sige lang gatubo ako interest sa wala nako bayari nga annual fee nga naabot na ug mga 15k karon from 2k++ nga annual fee... bahala sila di jud ko bayad bahalag muabot ug million... basta ako bayaran ang fix monthly ra jud nako.. pataka sila ug charge ug annual fee...

contact nalng directly ang bank nimo bro. Email them. Mosugot ra na sila data2x gihapon nga style ang pag pay nimo. AFAIK my friend is paying with a very minimal interest kay agi man siya tru amnesty. Kay if dili ka agi ana, modako gihapon na imong utang.
