Publisher Focus Home Interactive has sent over a fresh batch of screens from the upcoming RPG Game of Thrones, which is of course based on the fantasy novels by George R.R. Martin and the popular HBO TV series. The set of screens aims to highlight the types of epic, tactical battles that you'll experience in the game as you explore the continent of Westeros and hopefully complete the quest at hand without losing a limb or three.

Intense and tactical battles in Game of Thrones pit players against merciless opponents. They will need to be aware of the battle situation at every moment or they will soon encounter their bitter fate!

Anticipating the actions of the enemy and countering their moves will be necessary to emerge victorious from combat. With a large variety of character classes, elaborate skill trees and a broad range of weaponry and armors, all players will find something that suits their needs. If you like what you're seeing/hearing, you should also know that pre-orders for the PC version of Game of Thrones have gotten underway over on Steam. It doesn't look that bad on the latest screenshots.. more like Witcher 1 but in the trailers it looked pretty bad. Maybe they did some last minute optimization? Anyway I don't see this doing well against Diablo 3...

i wish it would be a VERY GOOD GAME. im a fan of both a song of fire and ice and RPG games. mayta nindot oist... based on sa imohang thoughts @negative_black03 would you think it would be a good game? considering na ang nag buhat sa games kay wla kaayo experience? murag cycling game raman to ilang gibuhat sa una not compared to bethesda na into RPG games.

if im not mistaken, this is developed in collaboration with the author himself. so the story may be faithful to the books pero ang gameplay, im not quite sure how it would turn out.. pero still waiting for the reviews to roll out and see.

May 15 saw the releases of

1. Diablo 3
2. Max Payne 3
3. Game of Thrones

turns out GoT - RPG have alot of negative reviews,leaning towards severely bad, Max Payne 3 landed on average/ mixed reviews on consoles (May 29 pa ang PC) and on my personal experiece with D3, im loving it!
