Mambukal is just one place in Negros that is fascinating. Negros is rich with so many waterfalls, let alone Mambukal with 7 falls. More best kept secrets in Negros actually. Mambukal is also one of the jump off points when climbing Mt. Kanlaon. Also a number of waterfalls around the foot of mount Kanlaon. Dili jud boring ang Negros. Somehow this is the effect of STILL (I hope) an existing balance ecosystem. If you've never been to mambukal, take time to visit it. You will never regret it. just keep in mind: take nothing but pictures, kill nothing but time, leave nothing but footprints (that means never leave your candy wrapper or plastic water bottles everywhere!). :mrgreen:

nice to see that there's a thread here about mambukal..

actually, they just celebrated their Mudpack Festival last week.. lots of events happened there.. including the dancing competition where the dancers are "painted" w/ mud.. (the mud came from the hot spring)..

lowest room rate there that i know of is P900.00.. that's good for 2-4 persons already.. but they also have camping grounds where you can have tents.. i think the fee was P30.00 for the camping ground.. c",)

the best thing i love there is the dipping pool.. where the water came from the hot springs.. sulphur water i think.. very good therapy..

if ever you are in bacolod.. you should visit the place.. c",)
