Hi, need help kai nagka problema mn mi regarding sa amo wedding...pareha mi sa ako soon to be wife naa sa abroad. karon kai naa man murag 3 sundays nga need naa na mi ngadto sa Pinas to file sa amo marriage cert ug sa PRECANA.. nya dile na mahitabo kai ang file nako is 3rd week sa may. nya ang ako wifey kai 1st week sa June..btw, wedding is 2nd week sa june... is there any way around ani nga prob... pls help me on this...

Hey there! Im afraid there is no way around that kay you really need mga more or less a month or so to do those things kay ang pagkuha sa MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE would require you both to be there when you apply for it then they will schedule you when inyung SEMINAR which usually falls on a SATURDAY! After that, attend mo sa SEMINAR and kailangan gehapon naa mo both! After attending the seminar, kailangan pa ninyo ipa SIGN PERSONALLY ang MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE sa in charge didto and usually after the SEMINAR, she only entertains a few people na signan niya ang MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE. So more or less you have to come back the next day or the next working day to get that signed.

As for the PRE-CANA, you need to check sad with the CHURCH sa schedule nila sa PRECANA!

To get the PRE CANA and MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE requires that YOU TWO should be there! Dili na sila musugot na ang WIFE ra or and HUSBAND ra ang naa even sa pag pa sign nalang sa CERTIFICATE etcetera or else they will insult you saying "Are you marrying yourself?" or "Dapat naa imung bana/asawa kay unsa man diay tu-o ninyu sa kaminyuan, ikaw ra usa?"

sakto si angel_brey..way lain choice bai TS..ana jud na..mas maayo pa kung pakasal man jud gusto inyo tuyo, pag Civil wedding lang sa mo (basin mas dali), then if naa na taas na time sa church dayon..maayo man sad nga gilisod na sa church bai kay wa byay divorce sa ato..hehe

cant do the civil thing...kai shes the first sa anak nga ma minyo. and i wanted her to be special mao sa simbahan mi. nya naka pay na mi entourage, photography, hotel, reception, etc. etc etc. i hope pwede ni madala... thanx again for the help...means alot to me!

madala ni if mo uli mo ug sayo nya lihokon ninyo tanan ang requirements. kung d, aw mapostpone jud na, then ma cancel tanan reservation.. sakit sa bulsa kay kasagaran d na iuli ang nabayad or 50% nalang ang iuli if icancel/move ang reservation.

No prob Fern..but like I said, if you really want this to push through, then you two better be here na a month before the wedding to do all those stuff! Ana na gyud na sila ka strikto karun! I can even still remember during the times I was preparing for the wedding na ang PRIEST mismo ni ask namo if we believe in DIVORCE or ANNULMENT! Heheh Mao na siya! So go go go! Plan ahead nalang gyud when mu mag dungan ug uli diri sa PINAS with your Fiance para ma asikaso na ninyo!
