Default Closed space, voids, null dimensions, etc...

Do you believe there's such things like these which exists?
I've often heared about voids and closed space...

Im really interested about this topic...

Just try to imagine if you are to discover a time/space wherein everything you see
does not really exist in a real world...like you're in a different dimension.

The intuitive notion that the universe has three dimensions seems to be an irrefutable fact. After all, we can only move up or down, left or right, in or out. But are these three dimensions all we need to describe nature? What if there are, more dimensions ? Would they necessarily affect us? And if they didn't, how could we possibly know about them?
Some physicists and mathematicians investigating the beginning of the universe think they have some of the answers to these questions. The universe, they argue, has far more than three, four, or five dimensions. They believe it has eleven! Are there really closed space or voids anywhere in our surroundings? How do we know that our universe consists of only three spatial dimensions?

That my friend is what you call theoretical physics. I suggest you read thoroughly about the history and development of physics from time of Aristotle down to Einstein and to Hawking and to M-theory specialists of today. You will see how Science specifically Physics develops. It starts from ideas that came from highly complex derivations that eventually gets proven experimentally and will eventually have a profound effect on technology.

What you speaking of right now is purely theoretical. It may be wrong and it may also be correct. But the thing is, those things they have been talking about voids, 11 dimensions, etc.. were deduced from elegant mathematical derivations. In physics, if a concept arises from an elegant mathematical framework, it is mostly likely correct. Which is why many physicists are interested in String theory or M-theory because it has an elegant mathematical framework to back it up. However, we are still far from really proving the theory. The only experiment that can possibly come close to proving the theory is the Large Hadron Collider.

I suggest also you read Brian Greene's Elegant Universe. It is a very informative book. hehehe

I love Calabi-Yau spaces. They look edible, like a exotic pretzels Who knows, maybe we're all living inside a gigantic donut...prepare to get dunked!
