    PIBC 2016 is fast approaching!!

    The fifth episode of the PIBC. This is a three-day activity with impetus towards the learning of basic wilderness skills, friendship and camaraderie and renewal of love of country. PIBC is not exclusive to Philippine residents but is open also to foreign nationals willing to learn tropical bushcraft.

    Itinerary:

    DAY 1
    06:00 – Assembly, J Center Mall-AS Fortuna, Mandaue City (Take your breakfast before start of activity)
    07:00 – Leave Mandaue City for Mulao, Lilo-an by bus
    08:00 – Arrive Mulao
    08:15 - Discovery Walk to Campsite
    08:45 - Arrive Campsite
    08:50 - Explore camp, pitch shelters and resting quarters
    10:00 - Opening of PIBC/Introduction
    11:00 – Prepare lunch
    12:00 – Lunchtime
    13:00 - Lecture: Ethical Bushcraft
    14:00 – Lecture: Knife Care and Safety
    15:00 – Lecture: Survival Tool Making
    16:00 – Lecture: Lashing and Simple Knots
    17:00 – Prepare dinner
    18:00 – Dinner time
    19:30 – Socials: Campfire Yarns and Storytelling
    24:00 – Taps

    DAY 2
    05:00 – Wake-up call
    05:30 – Prepare breakfast
    06:00 – Breakfast time
    08:00 – Lecture: Shelters
    10:00 – Lecture: Foraging & Plant ID
    12:00 – Siesta
    13:00 – Lecture: Firecraft
    16:00 – Lecture: Outdoor Cooking
    18:00 – Nocturnal Hunting
    19:00 – Prepare dinner
    20:00 – Dinner time
    21:00 – Socials: Campfire Yarns and Storytelling
    24:00 – Taps

    DAY 3
    05:00 – Wake-up call
    05:30 – Coffee time
    06:30 – Call to Flag and Country
    07:00 – Socials: Photo Session
    07:30 – Blade Porn
    08:00 – Blanket Trading
    09:00 – Prepare Brunch
    10:00 – Brunch time
    11:00 – Break camp
    11:30 – Leave Campsite for Mulao Bridge
    11:45 – Arrive Mulao Bridge
    12:00 – Leave Mulao for Titay's by bus
    12:30 - Arrive Titay's
    13:00 - Post-activity discussions, socials
    16:00 - Leave Titay's for Mandaue City
    17:00 - Arrive Mandaue City. End of PIBC 2016.

    What to Bring: Survival knife, jungle knife or multi-tool set; cook set; camp stove (optional); at least 2 liters water; spoon-fork set; safety matches, lighter or ferro rod; cell phone; flashlight & batteries; extra clothes and socks; tent or tarp sheet; sleeping bag or hammock; ground sheet (optional) , etc.

    Other Info: Participation is limited. Registration fee is P1,000.00 to include a PIBC T-shirt, PIBC Certificate and literature handouts.     Sir , sorry for the late reply. PIBC is annual lang during Independence Day. We may conduct a Bonifacio Day Bushcamp but wala pa date. You can always go dirt time with us on Sundays let me know lang. We may learn something new from you also. Keep in touch 09173200013.

    Depende sa itinerary, pero kung 3-day event gihapon murag dmd ko. hehehe

    @ghostie2472, I love the idea, I just can't find the 3-day slot yet, hehehe... I already have most of the stuff needed and that additional learning is really great, 3-day slot ra jud ako problem, hehehe...

    Yah dmd ang 3 days pud para nako. Basin naa ra one day lang nga bushcrafting, naa ba sir @SPRINGFIELD_XD_40?

    Normally day hikes lang ..... along the way sa evolution maka encounter ta ug plant ID, animal tracks, foraging, knife care and safety etc.

    Sir naa pod we can always accomodate day hikes every SUnday pod non . Let me know if ganahan mo mo kuyog ... its open and friendly hike lang , no IT to follow.

    ALso for everyones consumption, the PIBC 2017 is on June 10 to 12, 2017 and thr good thing about it , it falls on a Friday, Saturday and SUnday so chances are no need na mag leave.
