A dark picture of how corrupt our system is.
The big fish got away with the crime at the
expense of the smaller ones' lives...

I commend the ending of the movie because
it reflects the reality here in our country that
we are in a sad sick cycle carousel ~ chasing
after the bad guys but never gets anything
solved because of a white wash, ambush or
    bending the ugly truth.

The General in the movie reminds me of Zeus.
He calls the shots and always has the last say
    on your own judgment day.

Kudos to Erik Matti and all the cast who deserved
the standing ovation at the Cannes festival

I found this movie on netflix last night. I've seen the title several times while browsing netflix, and I had no idea it was a Filipino movie. Probably one of the best Filipino action flicks I've seen in a long while. The Ending was the boss!

I heard there's going to be a U.S. adaptation, directed by the guy who directed Contraband and 2 Gunz.

i also found this movie fun and entertaining. let's hope this would raise the standard of filipino action movies. unlike those old, useless, trashy action films during the 80's - 90's.
