if the asteroid didn't kill the dinossaurs , small mamals wouldn't be able to flourish since they will be eaten.

but when most dinosaurs died , bec plant life didn't also survive. due to the absence of sunlight bec, of the skies were blocked with huge amounts of dust .

the smaller ones in size flourish and soon after that mamals dominated the earth , that gave rises to different number of species.

hmmm, can something create itself out of nothing? can something exist from nothing?

Abiogenesis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Amino acids, often called "the building blocks of life", can form via natural chemical reactions unrelated to life, as demonstrated in the Miller–Urey experiment, which involved simulating the conditions of the early Earth."

how did the "early Earth" come to existence? how did a thing as simple as simple can be exist in the first place? i'm not saying there has to be a "creator", i'm just asking how the very first and simplest of all things came to be.

Certainly there is, if there's no creator then nothing will exist.

"Nothing exist from nothingness"

The ultimate question is WHO/WHAT instantiated the UNIVERSE? Scientist say it's the Big Bang but still what/who instantiated it?

Physics and the natural sciences tells us otherwise.

so how does a god concept exist out from nothing.? will leave d same question.

aliens can have the same process earth plant and animal life went through. but just like us humans who already has the intelligence . this alien life still dont have the technology to communicate or travel on our galaxy,. .

universe is still 14 billion yrs old.

earth had undergone several instinctioon( refer in youtube: animal armagedon) .

each mass extninction killed 80% of all life form/specie . if this didnt hapen walay humans ma form.

example. if wala ni abot ang meteor that killed dinosaurs , reptiles could have ruled the earth through time they will devlop beter brains that could have same level of intelligence we have.

if u've seen jurasic park, kadtong gagmay na dinosaur , na brayt kaayo ba, kabalo mo abli ug portahan. example lang to.

if our science books tells us that matter cannot be created nor be destroyed. Then is there really a need for a creator?

hehe...

don't agree with this. God is not energy. He is beyond human concept. creationist fanatics make the bible a complete nonsense not those who believe in God and science.

this is not the right place to argue about this dear. and besides, God, presumably the Christian God, being a human concept is a flawed statement. God is not a human concept because not all humans believe in a single deity, evident in the diversity of beliefs and religions.

just my two cents for those who are truly here for an intellectual discussion...

evolution and adaptation go hand in hand with change. our world is constantly changing, therefore those encompassed within this world will continue to evolve and adapt to these changes. why then is there no recollection of human evolution? because the concept of evolution only began when man began gained intellect and began to question his origin. here is my theory:

At that point, natural evolution had rapidly been taken over by invention. Why say so? natural evolution takes billions of years to occur, so before that necessary evolution occurs, let's say, to avoid predation, many lifetimes of the species would have passed. A good example would be how certain moths have evolved to detect bat sonar to avoid being eaten. Before that crucial point, many generations of months have been easy prey to many generations of bats.

But for present-day humans, almost all inconveniences of life can be remedied by technology. Why specialized eyesight when we have microscopes and telescopes? why need specialized chemicals in our stomachs, like termites do, to build our structures when we have machines to build our structures for us?

so that's my two cents. anyway, evolution is complex and far from completely understood. part of it is still a big mystery, and for someone to truly study and witness evolution, he would have to live for more than a million years... and i guess even the elixir of life mentioned in another thread can't help us with that.

Ok... so any other input about the prehistoric world and evolution? I am very interested in this topic. I am much of a reader on this and it felt like going back to my younger years when I look at those images.

Just my 2 cents.

I am a christian, but I do know when to insert topics that ARE supposedly in the right forum. Not being sarcastic here, but that is one reason we have the "Religion-and-all other stuff forums" to mingle with.
