By the way, just to remind you...the threads here on S&T have no room for pseudo sciences like creationism. So stick with the topic lang palihug.

OT -- also, please refrain from bringing up creationist personalities from the S&O -- let's not bring them here lest we ruin a good discussion.

why do we need to create them? If it's only for scientific studies, then i have nothing against it. But if it's for mass production? then that would be impractical in my opinion.

if we were to artificially create something, it would be meat that doesn't have to come from live animals.

Are we ready for "ARTIFICIAL LIFE?"

As much as people would cease to limit their abilities, we can't stop moving forward [advancement]. AI is already started it's course. There are already AIs in medicine. Cedars-Sinai Medical Center aims program and seek to develop software to allow computers to process and analyze three-dimensional images of the heart in much the same way an experienced human operator would. The program applies artificial intelligence techniques to the measurement of parameters critical to understanding the state and behavior of the human heart. This automated approach allows information to be obtained very quickly that is quantitatively accurate and does not suffer from intra-observer or inter-observer variability.
