bati diay atong location kai 25% covered ra. I could remember back then katong 100% covered jud, I got the welding lense and used a mirror on the ground para dili me sige ug hangad and maka payong me kai init man lol!

murag 1988 cgro to cya bro...sa mindanao ang 100% covered - i was in 3rd grade then ka remember ko ato klase-klase lang design nga baligya sa dark/tinted lense.

March 18, 1988. I was in 4th year high school, at MSU, Marawi City (99% totality). Took pics. The photos didn't survive--I donated them to my science high school, but unfortunately, the school lost my photos (I was stupid enough not to make copies). Sayang.

No, it will not. It will affect how birds, insects and some other animals (and humans) behave (i.e. birds stop singing, night insects start their screeching), but will not affect how the earth itself (as a planet) behaves.

the next total solar eclipse in philippines is around April 20, 2042

tiguwang na ko. at least 2 lifetime solar eclipse.
the 1988, gradeschool pa ko, naa mi tanan sa playground.
