General lang ni sya. Hassle na ug lahi-lahion ang for web programming, system & business programming, & for scripting.

Dpends sa situation bai or sa software na imo i developed:

for embeded applications like cellphone,game consoles and any gadgets of course number 1 and C and assembly.
for OS,firmware,middle ware again its C and assembly
for game development, developers prefer C/C++ because its critical sa speed
for Business applications prefereble C++, VB, java,C# and so on
for web and mobile game its Java(dependi sa OS-like)
for legacy applications/softwares like in the bank,atm,etc its COBOL,ADA,pascal

So ang ranking sa "best" programming languages is based kng unsa na platform, software type ug performance.
wlay maka generalize ana bai.. But most software na imng nakita sa imng paligid comes form C and assembly (including your cellphone,ipod, OS, F/W sa nyung TV, DVD player) or even those programming languages are created in C/asm.

*hehehe some of the things you posted are NOT programming languages, they are scripts ang uban kay Databases

1. mysql is a database and...
2. sql is a query language for a relational databases. while
3. flash is not a Programming Language it refers to both virtual machine (Flash Player) and IDE. ActionScript siguro ang imong pasabot not Flash.

BTW Scripting languages is considered a programming languages man sad.

Nalibug ko sa related topic ani. Ako ra ni gipang pick out ang mga pol optionsl sa mga gi-state sa storyans as programming language.

Ako last nga programming language nga nagunitan kay Turbo Pascal 6 way back 1999. I think its obsolete na.

I'm not sure if its advisable to jump directly whatever is best, coz i believe naay mga pre-requitsites para dili maglisod ug study.

Wala pre-requitsites ang mga programming languages. If you want to study a programming language then go ahead. Kailangan lang nimo e-familiarize ang imong software nga imong e-develop. Familiarize the problems that you are trying to solve.

kulang man ang list, visual foxpro, .net, oracle pl/sql, power builder should have been included.. tapos ang mga choices does not conformed with their respective application purposes, like vb is for local apps and utilities, ang uban kay scripting languages so meaning its for web apps.

Kulang gyud. There are thousands of different programming languages out there. Each year naa pa gyud ma-create nga bag-o. Gamay ra ang mo-gawas sa market.
