if you want to be a successful web developer then you have to consider mastering both platforms whether php or asp.net, dili man cguro na kung kinsa ang nindut or kung asa ka comfortable..what if soon ang imo employer ganahan magpa develop using asp.net pero ang background nimo php, some programmers i work with before just say "boss believe me php is better than asp.net because of blah blah raise to the power 5"...there are so many things to consider guy's just like scalability, maintenance, performance and speed, cost, time to deploy, editor, tools and so on which i believe both platforms are capable, it's not about the platforms it's the developer/programmer's experience using the best programming practices and solid programming guidelines and standards..don't stack yourself for one platforms lang the higher the pay kung both kabalo ka..

Otherwise, we should really focus on how we can grow as a programmer not on a particular language or system. Kay malingaw ko og interview anang naanad og andam na tanan, wala may nasabtan sa ilang code.
Unya mubalik na lang gyud ta og hisgot sa mga "Cool" nga language kay it allows me to grow up as a programmer. Tanan language naay purpose, ang mga legacy og mga enterprise hangtod sa mga cool.
Ang cool languages particularly allows us to do things differently.
depende sa imong gamit
if you are
- low on budget and looking for free platform then go for PHP
if you are
- having lots of resources
- and wants RAD
then go for ASP.net
^^^ Maka RAD baya ang PHP.
Hmmm...naglibog nako...unsay RAD nimo?...ako kay Rapid Application Development / Rapid Prototyping.
Kung pareho ta og pasabot, maski Netbeans capable man ana kay naa man siya iyahang framework gigamit. Though I am not really sure, kay kung Netbeans, Java man gyud na akong mahunahuna-an. But what matters with RAD is you have a functional framework. You can make your own, if you don't like using the current frameworks available sa net.
