mga bro's. me and my best friend is already connected with a company here in cebu but we will try to have sidelines. how about Oracle Forms Developer 10g? naa nangita ana diri? me and my best friend is willing to work part-time if someone needs that kind of expertise.

our company kay starting nila s php 14k for probationary... once ma regular na... it's 16 k na!

kina hangalan gyud nga strong knowledge sa php para mka sulod ug programmer? how bout undergrad? plano ta ko praktis ug php/mysql para mka apply ko ug programmer kay im gradwet og machine operator sa tesda then ang akong line kay sa mga i.t ug computers man gud.... hope can answer me....

Dependi sa company. Dili ka madawat if naa sa requirements nga graduate gyud ang kailangan. Pero kung wala. ok ra. I suggest unaha gyud ang finish ang school.

how bout vocational course? like finish and have a certificate from tesda of php/mysql pwede kaha na cya?

bai, i would suggest too to finish any 4year course. it is a must to all companies i know here in cebu. if you have a great working knowledge with any programming language you try to apply with, you course in college wouldn't matter (but it's always a plus if cs or it courses).

as a programmer maybe not but as an encoder probably.

Ok ra na 2 year-course, as long as you know how to program. Programming is a self-taught skill anyway. Schools are just for ceremonial purposes only. =)

not all programming skills can be "self-taught". probably, but it would take much time for one to have expertise esp. for c, c++ or java.

Naah... most good programmers I know have mastered those languages in high school. They were all self-taught. Schools that let you unfold your gifts are so hard to find in our country. Most good schools can't be afforded by middle-class citizens like me. =)
