i agree to this programmers bill of rights. they think that it is easy just sitting down on a wooden chair and surplus computers. hope this rights will be legal in future.

Default MQ Dev't Engineer / Automated Test Engineer

- anyone knows who is working with these positions kindly give their names and contact numbers at 09217681688 or just reply on this. They should have a deep background in MQ series and QTP. This is for Singapore. Tnx

1. Every programmer shall have two monitors

I think this depends upon the situation…such as in web development which is common in flipping one application to another (SQL enterprise server, IDE, logs, tools, etc…). One solution is to get a radically larger monitor that can show multiple applications, and getting second monitor should only be your last option. Too much radiation from these equipments is extremely dangerous. Health is wealth…

I’m using KVM switch to switch in my server, just in case I need to set something or issues like threading.

2. Every programmer shall have a fast PC

Stronger Agree… nobody wants to wait even just for few seconds. Especially if you are first time moving from C++ and C# hehehe

3. Every programmer shall have their choice of mouse and keyboard

Agree… actually I bought my own mouse and keyboard in the office.

4. Every programmer shall have a comfortable chair

Agree… or a sofa? Hehehe

5. Every programmer shall have a fast internet connection

Yes… G! is our bestfriend

6. Every programmer shall have quiet working conditions

I think nobody stays in the office with a noisy environment. One of my friends here setting close to me kicks off his PC unto his noisy CPU fan, on the next day; I saw his PC widely open case and throw the CPU fan. Hahahahaha

Good Luck on those bill of rights they help a lot to people like us.

and i would like to add something on those bill of rights:

-Programmers should have unlimited coffee on all flavors and sizes at work.
-Programmers should be allowed to drink beer at work.
-Donuts donuts donuts
-Burger burger burger
-Programmers should be given a 2 day holiday each week.
