If money is what you are after, then go for it.
If you have a sense of pride of becoming a software developer. It's good too.

Talking about rating it really depends on the project. Some BPO have big salary as they say, why not in Software development?

IT companies offer good salaries, it really depends on the company, project, position, objectives etc.
Remember, these days economy is different from few years ago. It doesn't hurt if have programming activity as part of your sidelines. Even tho it's smaller, but the money is fast.

Don't just rely on salary alone either big or small. You just have to do some alternatives besides career.

I really hate people degrading themselves when it comes to skills. A scenario of a person have a skill of a programmer, then becomes a call center at the end. It's a waste!!!!!!
It would be appreciated if they offer their skill for good use, NOT THROWN IN THE TRASH BIN.

bitaw naa mo point..currently employed sa Call Center as an agent. but target nako ang ila IT company.. Internal Hiring man gud.. You have to be an agent para mu qualify ka sa ubang department nila if naay hiring.
