i hired one na he worked for chase and one thing i am looking for is adaptive and self motivated

programming is sitting on your chair... and reading, editing and writing codes.. no qualification required...

a 12 yr old could do anything if given a chance.

Three things, experience, skill (which you gain most from experience) and ATTITUDE. It's no use to hire someone who is highly skilled but doesn't have the right attitude. Say for example someone who always fail in terms of teamwork. I guarantee you, know matter how skilled your team are if they don't have teamwork, they won't go anywhere else but in the starting block.
