Category 4 Super Typhoon Lupit aka Ramil was located at 600 kms East Northeast of Aparri, Cagayan (20.5°N 127.6°E) with maximum sustained winds of 175 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 210 kph. It is forecast to move West at 15 kph
