As of 11:00AM PST, it's still classified as a Tropical Depression, dili pa tropical storm, so pwera buyag lang...

Naay coming nga Tropical Depression (18W), mga 2 days from now. The current METOC prediction kay it will not pass the Philippines, but sometimes Metoc predictions can be wrong. People should act NOW and be prepared.



In this sat image, you can see 18W at the right, while Ondoy is on the left, making landfall in Vietnam.

You are right.

If this just swings a little bit south it will hit the Philippines.
The forecast even says it will be a Typhoon by October 2.

Better safe than sorry.

Not to sound like an a**, but Peping has a beautiful downward spiral and I can't help but admire the shape...
